Use CDN > Upload Portal to review your workspace portals and select the portal you want to manage. The portal overview shows its public URL, Discord server, destination folder, file limits and current status.

Portal list and limits

The portal list shows how many portals the workspace uses against its subscription allowance. Only the workspace owner can create a portal. Organization members with CDN read access see the owner’s portals instead of creating separate personal portals inside the organization workspace. If the portal allowance is reached, reset an unused portal or change the subscription before creating another one.

Pause or resume uploads

Use Accept player uploads to change whether the public page accepts new files. When you pause a portal:
  • New uploads are rejected.
  • Existing CDN files remain available according to their retention.
  • Existing audit logs keep their normal 30-day expiration.
  • Portal settings remain available in the dashboard.
Turn the setting on and save the portal to resume uploads. Pausing is appropriate for temporary maintenance. Use Reset a portal when you want to remove its public configuration and return its slot to the setup flow.

Update access and upload settings

Organization members need CDN write permission to change portal settings. You can update:
  • The connected Discord server.
  • Discord member or role requirements.
  • Whether the portal accepts uploads.
  • The public portal name.
  • The destination folder.
  • File retention.
  • Maximum file size.
  • Uploads allowed per player in a rolling 24-hour window.
FiveMesh verifies the Discord server through the Discord account linked to the operator making the change. That account must own or manage the selected server.

Change the destination folder

Changing the destination affects new uploads only. Existing files remain at their current public paths. FiveMesh preserves any retention needed by existing portal files while changing the active destination. If a previous retention migration is still active, wait before changing the destination again.
Two portals with overlapping destination folders cannot use different retention periods. Match the existing retention or choose a separate folder.

Change file retention

The active retention rule applies to media uploaded into the portal destination. Choose Never expire for durable media, or set a period from 1 hour to 365 days for temporary files. The portal page displays the selected lifetime to players before they upload. Changing media retention does not change the fixed 30-day lifetime of audit logs.

Review upload logs

Open Upload logs inside the selected portal to review recent activity. Logs include the uploader’s Discord identity, original file name, request context, upload status and date. Search by player, Discord ID, file name or recorded IP address. Use the status filter to focus on: Audit logs expire automatically after 30 days. This lifetime cannot be increased from portal settings.
A file can remain available after its audit log expires when the portal uses a longer retention period or Never expire.

Delete an uploaded file

Deleting a portal upload requires CDN delete permission.
1

Find the upload

Open Upload logs and search for the player, Discord ID or file.
2

Review the file

Open the uploaded file and confirm that it should be removed.
3

Delete the file

Select Delete file and confirm the action.
The public URL stops working immediately. The log changes to Deleted and remains until its normal 30-day expiration.
Deleting a CDN file cannot be undone from the upload log.

Block or unblock an uploader

Blocking requires CDN write permission.
1

Find the player

Open Upload logs and locate an entry from the Discord user.
2

Block future uploads

Select Block uploader. The player can still authenticate, but the portal rejects new uploads from that Discord account.
3

Restore access when needed

Find the same player in the logs and select Unblock uploader.Normal Discord membership, role and upload-limit checks apply again.
Blocking an uploader does not delete files they already uploaded. Remove those files separately when required.

Organization permissions

Player Upload Portals use the organization’s existing FiveMesh CDN permissions. The workspace owner’s subscription controls the portal allowance. Organization members do not receive a separate portal allowance. See Organizations for service sharing and role management.

Reset a portal

Resetting removes the public portal configuration and returns that portal slot to the setup flow. Only the workspace owner can reset a portal.
1

Open portal settings

Select the portal, then open Reset upload portal.
2

Review what remains

Existing CDN files remain in their current folders. Upload logs keep their normal 30-day expiration.
3

Confirm the reset

Click Reset portal and confirm the action.
After reset:
  • The public portal page stops working immediately.
  • The portal name becomes available for another portal.
  • Existing CDN files are not deleted.
  • Existing audit logs remain until they expire.
  • Blocked-uploader entries for the portal are cleared.
  • Retention needed by existing files remains active.
Use the CDN object browser to manage files that remain after reset.

Troubleshooting player access

Discord membership and roles are checked when a new upload begins. Ask the player to retry after correcting their server membership or roles.
